Spring Update

The students are getting excited about applying mathematics in the real world.  They enjoy the quickfire challenges (thank you Candace).  At times, the students will take advantage to the extra spicy challenge.  There has been a shift in the way they learn.  The students are so accustomed to being spoon fed that this has been challenging to change the status quo.  At first, the students were frustrated during the first semester.  However, they have been becoming more open to the new style of learning.  Furthermore, they are appreciating the correlation and are finding value in the principals being taught.  This provides teachers the opportunity to answer “When am I ever going to use this?”
